About UsThe Inventory Business is an independent business preparing reports on behalf of landlords and their agents. We believe that an accurate description of the property, record of the contents and schedule of condition at the start of the tenancy, prepared by a third party, will assist landlords and tenants alike, particularly in view of the Tenancy Deposit Protection Legislation which was introduced on 6th April 2007. We offer a fast professional service preparing detailed, unbiased reports which will be of the greatest assistance to the landlord in the event of any loss or damage and any subsequent dispute concerning the deposit. When an inventory and condition report has been prepared by an independent third party and agreed by the landlord (or their agent) and tenant it will make it less likely that a dispute will arise in the first place. Our staff are trained in the preparation of reports and are experienced and knowledgeable about properties, repairs and renewals. We are a Cornwall based business with over 15 years experience in property letting. Our base is near Falmouth and we currently offer our services throughout central and west Cornwall.
